Absorbent Cotton
Absorbent cotton also known as absorbent cotton wool or medical cotton is a highly absorbent material made from 100% cotton fibres. Absorbent cotton undergoes a cleaning process to eliminate bacteria, fungi, and other microorganisms. This process ensures that the cotton is safe for use in medical procedures, wound care, and other applications. Medical cotton is hypoallergenic, minimizing the risk of allergic reactions.

Gamjee Roll
A Gamjee roll is a surgical absorbent cotton roll, primarily used for wound dressing. It consists of layers of absorbent cotton wrapped in gauze, providing cushioning and moisture absorption for wound care. Gamjee rolls are highly absorbent, soaking up excess wound fluid and keeping the wound clean and dry. The absorbent cotton provides a soft, cushioned layer that protects the wound and surrounding skin. They are commonly used as a primary layer in wound dressings, providing a barrier against infection and promoting healing.

Gamjee Pad
Gamjee pads are absorbent cotton pads wrapped in gauze, primarily used for wound dressing and primary wound care. They are known for their high absorbency, making them suitable for wounds with heavy secretions, and their low-adherent surface which helps in easy removal. Gamjee pads are frequently used as the first layer of dressing directly on the wound, providing a protective and absorbent barrier. They help protect the wound from external contaminants and prevent further injury. Gamjee pads are highly absorbent, effectively soaking up wound drainage and keeping the area dry. By maintaining a clean and dry environment, they can aid in the natural healing process. The gauze covering on the pad minimizes sticking to the wound, making dressing changes less painful.

Roller Bandages
Roller bandages are versatile medical supplies used to secure dressings, provide support to injuries, and apply compression. They are commonly used for: securing wound dressings, supporting sprains and strains, controlling bleeding and swelling, and as padding over painful injuries. They can be made of various materials like cotton, crepe, or elastic, each offering different levels of support and compression. Roller bandages are frequently used to hold dressings (like gauze pads) in place over wounds, protecting them from infection and promoting healing. They are wrapped around the dressing, ensuring it stays firmly in contact with the wound while allowing for some flexibility and breathability. Roller bandages can be used to pad and protect areas of the body that are prone to injury or irritation.

Cotton Balls
A Cotton Ball is a soft fibre ball made from cotton. Cotton balls have multiple uses in the medical field including cleaning out wounds with hydrogen peroxide or iodine, applying antiseptics or topical ointments, cleaning minor cuts and skin irritations, and stopping blood after an injection is given or blood withdrawn. Surgical procedures also require their use for soaking up internal blood. Cotton balls are also used to pad a wound before it is bandaged.

Cotton Rolls
Cotton Rolls are essential for absorbing fluids and controlling bleeding during dental procedures. Cotton Rolls are soft, highly absorbent, and provide reliable performance for a smooth and clean treatment experience.

Cotton Pads
Cotton pads are pads made of cotton which are used for medical or cosmetic purposes. For medical purposes, cotton pads are used to stop or prevent bleeding from minor punctures such as injections or venipuncture. They may be secured in place with tape. Cotton pads are also used in the application and the removal of makeup. Cotton pads are soft enough that they can be used to clean babies.

Bandage Cloth / Gauze Cloth
Gauze is a thin, translucent fabric with a loose open weave. In technical terms, "gauze" is a weave structure in which the weft yarns are arranged in pairs and are crossed before and after each warp yarn, keeping the weft firmly in place. This weave structure is used to add stability to the fabric, which is important when using fine yarns loosely spaced. However, this weave structure can be used with any weight of yarn, and can be seen in some rustic textiles made from coarse hand-spun plant fibre yarns. Gauze is widely used for medical dressings. When used as a medical dressing, woven gauze is usually made of cotton. It is especially useful for dressing wounds where other fabrics might stick to the burn or laceration. Many modern medical gauzes are covered with a perforated plastic film such as Telfa or a polyblend which prevents direct contact and further minimizes wound adhesion.
